Flu Shots — Doctor Preparing Patient for Procedure in Wilmington, NC
Thank you for choosing Coastal Internal Medicine as your primary care provider. Our goal is to provide you with excellent service. In order to help our patients we are providing you with some of our office policies.

Information for Patients

Cancellations: We request that patients who are unable to keep an appointment contact our office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment for the courtesy of other patients who may benefit from the schedule opening. We reserve the right to charge a no-show fee, when several appointments are missed.

Walk-ins: are always welcome. We will do our best to accommodate you with your provider; however, you may be scheduled with a different provider if your provider is overbooked.

Medication Refills: Please allow 24-48 hours for refills unless you are scheduled to return to our office prior to your running out of your medication. If you are here for an office visit and know you will need a refill soon, please ask your provider at that time.

Disability and Other Forms: There will be a $25 - $50 charge, dependent upon the complexity of the form, to prepare any forms. Please allow 7-10 business days for completion of forms.

Medication Contract and Policies: Depending on the treatment prescribed for you, you may be required to read and sign a Medication Contract. This contract may involve random pill counts and random drug screens.

Phone Messages: Messages may not be handled until the end of the business day when we have completed patient visits. If you require immediate attention, do not leave a message for a nurse, but do speak to a representative.
